PRINCIPAL RIVERS OF COLOMBIA

CARIBE: RIO ATRATO
Swamps and marshes along the depression between the mountains of Darien and Jumps to W and the Abibe to E. Includes the delta of the Atrato, their flood plains and the Leon River. Complex Tumarado swamps, Perancho, the Honda, the Rica.



CARIBE: CANAL DEL DIQUE
It extends to the north of the Sierra de Maria and flows into the sea in the bays of Cartagena and barbecues. Spread over depression which is on the southern border of the departments of Bolívar and Atlántico, which is irrigated by the waters of the Rio Magdalena.



ORINOQUIA: RIO META  
Flood plains in winter and madreviejas


CARIBE: RIO SINU
Set of swamps, marshes and floodplains open to the sea through the mouth of the Sinu River Delta Tinajones. Limited to S by Betancí Swamp, the W by old pipes and Tiger until Lorica. When E is limited by the Water pipe Prietas to N Cienaga Grande.



CARIBE:BAJO MAGDALENA 
At north   of the mouth of the Rio Cauca, including Magdalena River   floodplains and large permanent wetlands
