BOGOTA: AMAZING PARADISE


Bogota, officially Bogotá, Distrito Capital, abbreviated Bogotá, D. C.4 May (during the Spanish colonial period and from 1991 to 2000 called Santa Fe de Bogota) 6 is the capital of the Republic of Colombia and Cundinamarca.
Bogota is a first-order territorial entity in Colombia, with administrative powers that the law confers on Departamentos.8 It consists of 20 villages and is the epicenter of political, economic, administrative, industrial, artistic, cultural, sports and tourist country.


Museums and galleries
The city offers 58 museums and over 70 art galleries, among which the National Museum of Colombia, the acquis is divided into four collections: art, history, archeology and ethnography, and the Gold Museum, with 35,000 gold pieces and tumbaga, plus 30 thousand objects ceramic, stone and textiles, represents the largest collection of pre-Columbian gold in the world.

scientific museums are the Archeological Museum - Casa del Marqués de San Jorge which has about 30,000 pieces of pre-Columbian art, the Institute of Natural Sciences (UN), one of the four largest museums of natural sciences in Latin America, and Ingeominas Geological Museum has a collection specializing in Geology and Paleontology.

The system of national parks of Colombia is defined as the set of areas with exceptional values for the national natural heritage for the benefit of the people of the nation and because of its natural, cultural or historical reserves

Natural National Park Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta
National Natural Park Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is one of the protected areas system of National Parks of Colombia and the second oldest, founded in 1964. It is located between the departments of La Guajira, Magdalena and Cesar, in the mountain range of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
Declared by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site in 1979, is considered a unique place in the world due to isolation from the Andes and placed its highest peak (5775 m) at only 42 km the sea. It contains all climatic zones found in Colombian territory and different biomes that make up the forest, mountain forest and the Andean highlands.

Sierra de la Macarena
The Sierra de la Macarena is a Colombian region, located in the department of Meta, in the Andean foothills in the Amazon rainforest, is the meeting point of ecosystems Andean, Amazonian and orinocense. Inhabited by peasants heirs recent colonization process, motivated by the violent expulsion of peasants from mid-twentieth century, La Macarena is recognized by both biotic and physical importance by the many conflicts that cross.

CARIBE: CANAL DEL DIQUE
It extends to the north of the Sierra de Maria and flows into the sea in the bays of Cartagena and barbecues. Spread over depression which is on the southern border of the departments of Bolívar and Atlántico, which is irrigated by the waters of the Rio Magdalena.

HISTORY


When the Spanish arrived in the fifteenth century three families inhabited Colombian territory. Chibcha culture located in the highlands and cold areas of the Midwest and in the "Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta". The Caribbean, located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and Arwac, in the regions of the Amazon, Putumayo and Caquetá.

The Chibcha family, one of the most numerous and more highly intellectual, had an advanced knowledge of mathematics, used a calendar that enabled him to manage agriculture and celebrate religious holidays and used hieroglyphic writing. Due to its dispersal formed a unique people.
